<p>PURPOSE: A hot rolling high-pressure fluid descaling method and apparatus are provided to prevent interference resulting from fluid rebounded from an adjacent nozzle to jet sprays by maintaining the center lines of impact areas separated at regular intervals in a longitudinal direction and vertical to the transfer direction of a rolling stock. CONSTITUTION: A hot rolling high-pressure fluid descaling apparatus comprises one or more descaling units(2). The descaling units include a main pipe header(21) and a plurality of nozzles(22). The main pipe header has an axial protrusion, which crosses the transfer direction of a rolling stock(3) at the surface of the rolling stock, and supplies fluid. The plurality of nozzles are arranged in the main pipe header and oriented opposite to the transfer direction of the rolling stock. The plurality of nozzles spray fluid to the surface of the rolling stock so that adjacent impact areas, which are parallel to each other, are arranged in an alternate pattern. The center line of each impact area is separated at a specified distance from adjacent impact areas.</p> |
