<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge device for washing water in a tank, capable of discharging different flow rates of washing water for large-quantity flushing and small-quantity flushing with the operation of washing a toilet bowl while using one float. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge device for the washing water in the tank includes a flapper valve 22, a lever arm, an air chamber 50 provided in the flapper valve 22, an air vent valve 58 for removing air from the air chamber 50 to introduce water to the inside, a ball chain 70 for directly pulling the flapper valve 22 up to open it with the rotation of the lever arm in one direction and for pulling the flapper valve 22 up to open it after opening the air vent valve 58 with the rotation thereof in the other direction, a float 84 slidably provided along the ball chain 70, a stopper 90, and a cylinder body 74 for receiving the weight of the float 84 when sliding down, to push the flapper valve 22 downward. With air held in the air chamber 50, the flapper valve 22 is opened for large-quantity flushing.
