<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the center-of-gravity position of a whole apparatus to enhance its operability. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a lens unit 2 for guiding the external light to an image pickup device 33 and a display operation unit having a display section and an operation section.
