<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a size adjustment apparatus that can easily and quickly adjust an inner diameter of a headband, while wearing a helmet. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: irregularities 28L, 28R, which are present at both ends of the headbands 22L, 22R oppositely superposed to each other, and which are formed in parallel along a longitudinal direction on opposite sides of both ends; a gear 3, which are present between the opposing irregularities and are engaged with the irregularities and also are rotatably pivoted, for adjusting the size of the inner diameter of the headband by moving both ends of the headband in an opposite direction along a circumferential direction to each other by rotation; an operation unit 4, which is supported movably in a linear direction, and which has a mechanism for rotating the gear 3 while being interlocked with the operation in the linear direction; and a rotation regulation unit 5 for regulating an operation direction of the operation unit 4 in the direction of reducing the inner diameter of the headband and for releasing the regulation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
