<p>A low profile traction machine for elevator devices, comprises: a housing, which receives therein a stator and a stator winding; a main shaft supported on and fixed to the housing in a cantilever manner; a bearing housing rotatably mounted to an end of the main shaft through a bearing; a sheave formed integral with the bearing housing; and a rotor of a motor formed integral with the sheave and including a plurality of permanent magnets opposed to the stator, wherein a side of the bearing housing, in which the bearing is arranged, opposite to the housing is closed by a bearing cover, an oil dripped space is formed below a clearance between opposite portions of the housing and the bearing housing, and an oil reservoir is formed on an opposite end surface of the housing to the sheave to be positioned below and communicated to the oil dripped space.Fig. 1</p> |
