ENTERPRISE DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SUPPORTING LINK FUNCTION BETWEEN FILE, AND METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: An electronic document management system and method thereof are provided to enable a user to conveniently use a document including an excel link by updating connection information to a document stored in a document management server and by registering the document to the document management server. CONSTITUTION: Local PC(Personal Computer)s(100) registers link files linked in a document file and the document file in a document management server(200). The local PCs edits the link file and the document file registered in the document management server by converting the connection information of the link file into the document of the document management server. The document management server registers and creates document ID(Identification) by receiving the document and link file. The document management server stores the edited document and link file in the local PCs.
