PURPOSE: A press molding apparatus having both a heating unit adopting PTC and a cooling unit adopting a thermoelectric element is provided to improve the quality of products by minimizing the change of material properties like the thermal expansion coefficient and the tensile strength of molding products through the heating unit and the cooling unit. CONSTITUTION: A press molding apparatus(100) comprises a heating unit and a cooling unit(300). The heating unit comprises a lifting body(220), a lower jig(230), an upper jig(231), and heat insulating materials. A hydraulic unit is connected to a hydraulic cylinder for generating hydraulic force and the lifting body and the lower jig are lifted through hydraulic force. The heat insulating materials maintain the temperature generated through the operation of PTC(260) and minimize the transferring of the heat to the lower and upper jig. The cooling unit comprises a lifting body(320), a lower jig(330), and a lower mold(350). The lower jig is moved back and forth for the replacement or the assembly of the lower mold. A longitudinally moving cylinder is installed in one side of the rear portion of the lifting body and moves the lower jig back and forth.
