<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when making an instruction about a projection image through an interactive operation, an instruction of a presenter does not reach a system or a manu screen covers a portion of contents. <P>SOLUTION: An interactive presentation system includes imaging means, image analysis means which calculates positional information of an instruction from captured image data, control means which inputs the positional information and operates based on input information from any arbitrary input means, storage means in which positional information is stored by the control means, pattern generation means which is controlled by the control means and generates an arbitrary pattern image, image display means which inputs output from the pattern generation means, and projection means which magnifies and projects output from the image display means. On an initialization step based on input information from the input means, an instructed position is defined as a boundary position of an arbitrary command by the control means, a predetermined command is allocated and stored in the storage means.
