<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a market transaction support device capable of supporting an appropriate transaction at a continuing trend of a market rate. <P>SOLUTION: A trend of a market rate is determined on the basis of each of two market rate data D1 and D2 acquired periodically at different time scales. When the trend of the market rate determined based on the market rate data D2 of the short time scale begins to accord with the trend of the market rate determined based on the market rate data D1 of the longer time scale, an order to sell or buy is placed.
