This heat insulation box body (1) comprises an outer box (2), an inner box (3) which is housed in the outer box through a heat-insulating space arranged between the inner surface of the outer box and the inner box, multiple vacuum heat insulation materials (10) which are arranged in the heat-insulating space, and an expanded heat insulation material (4) which is filled in a portion of the heat-insulating space in which the multiple vacuum insulation materials are not placed, wherein each of the multiple vacuum heat insulation materials comprises at least a core material and a water adsorbent and is so adapted that the core material and the water adsorbent are hermetically encapsulated under vacuum in a space covered with an external covering material, and at least one of the multiple vacuum heat insulation materials which has the largest area additionally comprises a gas adsorption device having nitrogen-adsorbing properties and water-adsorbing properties in addition to the core material and the water adsorbent and is so adapted that the core material, the water adsorbent and the gas adsorption device are hermetically encapsulated under vacuum in the space covered with the external covering material.
