<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact dispenser for rolled paper towel that reliably discharges paper without malfunction. <P>SOLUTION: The dispenser for rolled paper towel includes: a support mechanism for supporting a rolled paper towel in a case; a discharge means for paying out a paper towel from the rolled paper towel; a sensor for detecting an object to be detected within a detection range; and a controller for driving the discharge means when the sensor detects the object to be detected to discharge the paper towel of a predetermined length.
