The circuit board (10) has resistor arrangement (12) for balancing the battery cells, and conductor ends for the connection of electrical contacts (5) of the battery cells. A temperature sensor (14) is positioned adjacent to one of the conductor ends. The conductor ends are thermally insulated by printed circuit board apertures (16,18,20). The resistors are arranged outside of the printed circuit board region. An independent claim is included for electrical energy store.
