<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent or composition for treating and preventing osteoporosis using as effective ingredients UKON (tuberous root of Curcuma longa), KUREMPI (bark of Melia azedarach) and SAKU-ENGOSAKU (tuber of Corydalis turtschanizorii, processed with vinegar), which are safe as a medicine, feed and food. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided the agent and composition for osteoporosis comprising as effective ingredient UKON, KUREMPI and SAKU-ENGOSAKU.
