The side 3 of a drawer 1 carries a pivoted catch 10 with a nose 13 which can engage an abutment on the housing, a rearwardwardly extending arm 15 serving as a counterweight to hold the catch in operative position and a forwardly extending finger piece 16 by which the catch may be freed to permit withdrawal of the drawer. The runners 4 provide side clearance for the catch and the nose piece 13 is preferably movable in a slot in the top beading 7 of the drawer which limits its rearward movement. |
