<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide to the outside an internal signal allowing suitable analysis of even a failure in an initialization sequence. <P>SOLUTION: A controller ASIC 5 mounted to a composite device is equipped with plural functional modules 11 to 24. A monitor signal selector 26 uses an internal signal selector 31 thereof to receive internal signals from the functional modules 11 to 24 and select a signal for monitoring as a monitor signal, from among the internal signals. Then, with at least a period including a prescribed period from power-on reset as an output period for outputting the monitor signal, the monitor signal having a controlled output period is outputted from the external terminal of the controller ASIC 5 to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
