PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and means for immobilizing protein which can control orientation of molecules to be immobilized, can stably immobilize the molecules without requiring a complicated process, and do not make a chemical group to be used for immobilization affect the activity and the function of the protein, as a method for immobilizing the molecules of the protein.

SOLUTION: The method for immobilizing the molecules includes the steps of: attaching a labeled peptide sequence including a hydroxyl group-containing amino acid onto molecules to form labeled molecules; and capturing the labeled molecules in molecules having a phenylboronic acid group by bringing the molecules having the phenylboronic acid group into contact with the labeled molecules.
