<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tank that suppresses cost increase due to the growing number of parts to the minimum, has no risk of dust generation therein, can stir and mix ink evenly from a liquid surface to the bottom of an ink storage, and contributes to forming of an image having less variation in ink density, in a liquid droplet ejection apparatus in which a liquid droplet ejection head is secured at a carriage and ejects ink while reciprocating in a scan direction. <P>SOLUTION: The ink tank 105 includes an ink storage 104 divided into an ink storage part 104a and an ink storage part 104b by means of a secured partition wall 120 partitioning the ink storage into a forward movement side and a backward movement side in a scan direction. A lower communication opening 115 and an upper communication opening 116 are provided at upper and lower sides of the ink storage 104, thus allowing ink to move by inertia when moving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
