<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens advantageous for balancing between securing an angle of view at a wide angle end as well as a variable power ratio and achieving a miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention has, from an object side to an image size, a positive first group G1, a negative second group G2, a positive third group G3, a negative fourth group G4 and a positive fifth group G5 and varies power from a wide angle end to a telephoto end by moving at least each of the first group G1, the third group G3, the fourth group G4 and the fifth group G5. A prescribed conditional expression with respect to a focal distance and a displacement magnitude of each group is satisfied by: moving the first group G1, the third group G3 and the fourth group G4 so as to be positioned closer to the object side at the telephoto end than at the wide angle end; moving the fifth group G5 so as to be positioned closer to the image side at the telephoto end than at the wide angle end; expanding respective distances between the first group G1 and the second group G2, between the third group G3 and the fourth group G4, and between the fourth group G4 and the fifth group G5 wider at the telephoto end than at the wide angle end; and shortening the distance between the second group G2 and the third group G3 narrower at the telephoto end than at the wide angle end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
