<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station and autonomous setting method for the base station which make it possible to perform autonomous setting of a tilt angle of an antenna or transmission power in an integrated way. <P>SOLUTION: A tilt angle setting part 22 acquires position coordinates, a height and a tilt angle of an antenna of each of a plurality of adjacent base stations registered in an adjacency list from the other adjacent base stations through an X2 interface 15; acquires position coordinates and a height of an antenna of a base station 1 based on reception data from a GPS reception part 25; estimates a tilt angle of an antenna 31 of the base station 1 for each of the adjacent base stations based on the acquired information (that is, the position coordinates, the height and the tilt angle of the antenna of the adjacent base station, and the position coordinates and the height of the antenna of the base station 1); and sets the tilt angle of the antenna 31 by a tilt angle varying mechanism 26 so that the largest tilt angle among the estimated tilt angles is taken for the tilt angle to be set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
