PURPOSE: A postal matter feeding apparatus for preventing excessive supply of postal matters is provided to properly feeding a postal matter at a time because the postal matters are not excessively fed by controlling the operation of a feeding belt. CONSTITUTION: A postal matter feeding apparatus for preventing excessive supply of postal matters(10) comprises a postal matter feeding part(310), a suction transferring part(320), and a control part(200). The postal matter feeding part transfers postal matters in an erected state. The suction transferring part vacuum-adsorbs a forefront postal matter locating in the forefront when the postal matters are reached to separately transfer the forefront postal matter from other postal matters. The control part controls the operation of the postal matter feeding part and the suction transferring part.
