FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: relay comprises a facility to input an entry reference quantity; a facility to determine conditions of start-up for the protection relay using a computational equation, the value of which increases, when the value of the entry reference quantity exceeds the value of the first threshold quantity, and decreases, when the value of the entry reference quantity reduces below the value of the second threshold quantity for a measured load value, the result of the computational equation increases, when the value of the entry reference quantity reduces below the value of the first threshold quantity, and reduces, when the value of the entry reference quantity exceeds the quantity of the second threshold quantity for the measured underload value of a facility to compare the computation result of the computational equation with a present actuation condition; a facility for transition of a relay condition, if the actuation condition is met, and an output signal is generated, at the same time the output signal depends on the result of the computational equation, to perform protection functions; and actuation takes place, when result of the first measurement exceeds the result of the second measurement. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability of operation and extended shelf life of a relay. ^ 32 cl, 5 dwg |
