PURPOSE: A roller for an image forming device and the image forming device with the same are provided to make the length of a reinforcing fiber equal to the length of a shaft. CONSTITUTION: A roller for an image forming device includes a shaft(31) and an elastic member(32). The shaft includes reinforcing fibers and a binder resin. The elastic member surrounds the outer circumference of the shaft. The ratio of an average length to the average diameter of the reinforcing fibers is about 15,000 to 50,000.
