PURPOSE: A connector is provided to protect a connected target from damages and scission by effectively preventing the connected target from detaching from an insulator. CONSTITUTION: An FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit)(80) is inserted into an insulator(20) or is eliminated from the insulator. An engaging concave unit(23) is formed on a side wall of the insulator. A held unit(81) of the connection target is held on the engaging concave unit. An insertion concave unit(33) is located at an escape direction of the connection target. Contact units(40,50) connect to the inserted connection target. A fixed arm(60) includes a reinforcement unit(62) which is inserted into the insertion concave unit.
