<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood cement board having excellent bending strength, long-term durability and impact resistance while containing wood chips and manufactured by a mold press system and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The wood cement board is a hardened product of a molded material obtained by pouring a slurry comprising cement, a silicate-containing material, wood fiber and wood chips into a frame and dehydrating and molding. The mass ratio of the cement to the silicate-containing material is 3:7 to 7:3. The wood chips are 2-5 mm and are coated with calcium. The combined content of the wood fiber and wood chips is lower than 9 mass% with respect to the total solid content of the wood cement board. The method of manufacturing the wood cement board includes mixing the 2-5 mm wood chips with cement composition, a calcium-containing material or water obtained by dehydration of the slurry and stirring so as to coat the wood chips with calcium, mixing the resultant wood chips, a cement, a silicate-containing material and wood fibers to prepare a slurry, pouring the slurry into a frame and dehydrating, molding and curing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
