The conveyor belt comprises an opaque marker (15), which has a rectangular marker portion (17) that is strip-shaped along the running direction of the conveyor belt and having a predetermined length in the running direction. The opaque marker comprises another marker portion (18) in the form of a rectangular triangle, which is directly adjacent to the former marker portion.
