<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device and a communication method capable of selecting an address book for use on a calling device. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, an electronic device includes a display device including a first storage module, and a calling device including a second storage module having a capacity smaller than a capacity of the first storage module. The display device includes a display module configured to display contents of an operation, and a first communication module configured to perform communications with other devices. The calling device includes a calling module configured to perform communications through audio, and a second calling module configured to perform communications with other devices.
