PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enabling efficient file access.

SOLUTION: In an information processing apparatus 10, a file system 100 manages files in a storage unit 130. A process start unit 94 receives a start instruction and starts an application. When the application is started, a path acquisition unit 102 acquires paths of an application file and a patch file in the storage unit 130. When content having the same name is included in both of the application file and the patch file, a path switching unit 106 specifies the path of the content included in the application file as the path of the content included in the patch file.
