摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a catalyst excellent in the points of turnover frequency, selectivity and yield, and glyceric acid and tartronic acid by a liquid-phase oxidation reaction of glycerol by using the catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the glyceric acid and the tartronic acid by the liquid-phase oxidation reaction of the glycerol by using oxygen as an oxidizing agent uses the catalyst obtained by using titanium dioxide as a carrier and allowing the carrier to carry nanoparticles comprising two components of gold and palladium. Preferably, the catalyst obtained by mixing an alkali metal salt with a mixed solution of an aqueous solution of chloroauric acid and a hydrochloric acid solution of palladium chloride so that the pH value becomes weakly acidic or neutral to carry out neutralizing treatment, and dispersing titanium oxide after the neutralizing treatment to allow the surface of the titanium oxide to adsorb a metal complex by electrical affinity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
