<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of maintaining sealing performance against toner leakage even when an angle between built-in magnetic poles in a developing roller is increased, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the developing device. <P>SOLUTION: A developing device 20 includes a developing roller 22 having a plurality of built-in magnetic poles 27, 29, 37, and a sealing member 38 which forms magnetic fields with the magnetic poles 27, 29, 37 in a gap G2 and suppresses a magnetic toner from leaking to the outside by magnetically restricting the magnetic toner in the magnetic fields. The developing roller 22 includes a first region A1 facing a predetermined image carrier 10, and a second region A2 facing the sealing member 38. The second region A2 has a magnetic restriction force that magnetically restricts the magnetic toner, while the first region A1 has a magnetic restriction force lower than the magnetic restriction force of the second region A2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
