<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory material for gas-shielded arc welding capable of enhancing hot crack resistance without setting limits to the component of a titania-based flux-cored wire to be used in a gas-shielded arc welding. <P>SOLUTION: The refractory material 1 for gas-shielded arc welding is used as a backing material in gas-shielded arc welding using a titania-based flux-cored wire, and contains, by mass, 0.001-0.100% N (N in nitride), 30-60% SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, 15-40% Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>, 5-25% MgO, and the balance of inevitable impurities. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
