<p>The device has a weighing device (7) i.e. scale, accessible over a transportation roadway (1) and comprising a distributor (4) which distributes a stream of mails to sub-paths (5, 6). The sub-paths are again combined by a combining device (8a) after weighing of the mails. The weighing device is provided in one of the sub paths (5) for automatic weight determination of the mails. Another sub-path is designed as a bypass which bypasses the weighing device, where no weighing takes place in the bypass.</p> |
