PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition having a high coefficient of mechanical quality, a large piezoelectric strain constant, low dielectric loss and excellent stability of the dielectric loss with time and to provide a method for manufacturing the composition, and a piezoelectric element by using the above piezoelectric ceramic composition. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric ceramic composition contains a piezoelectric ceramic composition expressed by general formula of (K1-x Nax )NbO3 , wherein (x) is in the range of 0<x<1, and contains a scandium element or a scandium compound. |
