<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel recording device capable of preventing left-over of travel data. <P>SOLUTION: When a driver's recording medium 31a is inserted and connected to a digital tachograph 10 and driver's information is registered, the recording of the travel data is started. Later, when a vehicle is stopped and the same driver's recording medium 31a is inserted again, the digital tachograph 10 discharges travel data from a time when the driver's information is registered to a time immediately before the vehicle is stopped (S10). When an administrator's recording medium 31b is inserted, the digital tachograph 10 discharges the travel data immediately before the insertion to the administrator's recording medium 31b (S12).
