PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network photo-service system and a photo-service for allowing a user who takes a photograph by a digital camera to easily acquire prints, and to preserve picture data at low costs. SOLUTION: In this photo-service system, picture data photographed by a digital camera are transmitted through a portable telephone to a service center, and printed by a photo-service store such as a laboratory selected by the center, and provided to a user. In this case, the service center 1 is provided with a means 13 for storing the picture data, a means 12 for specifying the position of the user by referring to the transmitted data, a data base 14 for storing the location of the laboratory, a means 15 for comparing the positions of the user with that of the laboratory, and for selecting the laboratory in the neighborhood of the present position of the user, and a means 17 for measuring the number of times of requests for the prints from the user, and for setting the sum of a data preservation fee by referring to the number of times. |
