<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device capable of surely preventing a seal member from being forgotten to be detached, without increase in the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: Between a first housing 144A and a second housing 144B, a seal member 160 is sandwiched in an unbonded state where the seal member is not bonded to the second housing 144B by glueing or the like, to block between a conveyance path of a first conveyance screw 143 and a developing roller 141 held by the first housing 144A. A stirring auxiliary member 163 is attached to the seal member 160.
