<p>The method involves confining gas in a container (1) at a preset initial volume (V0) and an initial pressure prior to inflow of fluid (A, B). The confined gas is compressed to a gas volume by the fluid. Increase in gas pressure (pg) of the gas in the container is caused relative to the initial pressure based on a volume and a volumetric flow rate of the inflow. The gas pressure in the container is measured as a function of time. The volume having flowed in up to the time and/or the volumetric flow rate of the inflow at the time is determined using the measured gas pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for executing a method for measuring a volume flow and/or a volume of liquid flowing into a container (2) a method for operating a device for executing a method for measuring a volume flow and/or a volume of liquid flowing into a container.</p> |
