<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a client even when information acquired from a client who has performed access to a Web server is not completely coincident with information acquired in the past. <P>SOLUTION: This client identification support system is configured to, when a client performs access to a Web server, acquire information relating to a predetermined item from the client, and to determine whether or not there exists any client information registered in a database which is coincident with the acquired information relating to the predetermined item, and to, when there exists any coincident client information, identify the client as the client that has performed access in the past, and to, when there does not exist any coincident client information, determine whether or not the calculated value is equal to or more than a predetermined value on the basis of the value of the rate of the coincident item, and to, when determining that the calculated value is equal to or more than the predetermined value, identify the client as the client that has performed in the past, and to, when determining that the calculated value is not equal to or more than the predetermined value, newly register the acquired information relating to the predetermined item in the database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
