<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital converter that can compensate an error in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: An analog/digital converter includes: a switched capacitor circuit (101) for sampling an analog input voltage; a sign conversion circuit (401) for converting the plus/minus sign of a voltage of the switched capacitor circuit; an amplifier (301) for amplifying an output voltage of the sign conversion circuit; an offset voltage removal circuit (402) for removing an offset voltage of the amplifier from an output voltage of the amplifier; a latch circuit (302) for latching an output voltage of the offset voltage removal circuit; and a control section (103) for compensating an error in the switched capacitor circuit in accordance with an output circuit of the latch circuit in a compensation mode.
