The invention relates to an electromagnetic pulse-welding device for joining a metal sheet (11) to a metal part (12), consisting of an electric energy source (2) which is connected to a coil (4) by means of a current conductor (3), the active part (4) of said coil being in the direct proximity of the metal sheet (11), said metal sheet (11) being at a distance from the metal part (12). The passive part (4) of the coil has a larger cross-section than the active part (41) and said active part (41) borders on one part of the surface in a positive fit, to a cooling insulator (5), the material having a relatively high thermal conductivity and a relatively low magnetic and electric conductivity compared to the material of the coil (4). |
