A folding machine for folding sheet-like elements includes at least a first buckle-folding station, a second buckle-folding station and possibly a further buckle-folding station, for respectively forming folding configurations having at least one fold. A folded edge trimming device is provided upstream of a respective folding station, for removing the at least one previously-formed fold. A method of folding using such a folding machine is also provided. It is thus possible to generate folded products with a high level of folding accuracy. |
