<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator core which enables highly accurate installation while adopting a split core method and can facilitate assembly itself including its automation, and a method of manufacturing the stator core. <P>SOLUTION: A stator core comprises: a plurality of split cores 10 disposed annularly; and a band-shaped thin plate 21 wound around outer peripheries of the plurality of split cores 10 to fix the split cores 10. Each of the plurality of split cores 10 has coupling structure at a portion coming into contact with the adjacent split core 10 for coupling the split cores 10 to each other by a recess and a projection thereof, and includes a groove 15 which is located at both ends in the circumferential direction of an outer peripheral face coming into contact with the thin plate 21, and extends in the axial direction as the stator core in such a manner as to share with the adjacent split cores 10. An end part 22 of the thin plate 21 bent to form a hook shape is inserted to one of the grooves 15, and the thin plate 21 is bonded to each of the plurality of split cores 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
