<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus which enables key operation to be efficiently performed with one hand in a standard keyboard. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes key code generation means and key operation control means. When any key in a first or second key group is depressed, the key code generation means generates two key codes of a key code allocated to the relevant key, and a key code allocated to a key disposed at a position within a second or first area corresponding to a position of the relevant key in the first or second area. The key operation control means presents as options just a predetermined number of character strings, in an order starting from a highest priority, from among a plurality of character strings of all combinations constituted by exclusively selectively using the two key codes which are generated by the key code generation means each time a key is depressed, in the order of depressing keys and outputs a key code indicating a character string selected from among the presented options. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
