<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that one half (first page) of an output prohibition manuscript is output when the information indicating output prohibition about the manuscript has been printed on the right half during continuous shooting of pages. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus has reading means for reading a manuscript while dividing into N (N is 2 or more) regions and then reading the image data corresponding to each of the N regions.
