PURPOSE: A vertical-shaking machine for treating a surface of a metal part is provided to increase rubbing by applying gravity in the inside of a task barrel when the work barrel is vertically shaken, thereby improving a surface treatment effect. CONSTITUTION: A vertical-shaking machine for treating a surface of a metal part comprises a driving unit(120), a power transmission tool, a barrel carriage(140), and a task barrel. The power transmission tool coverts the driving force of the driving unit into a vertical reciprocating motion. The barrel carriage is vertically moved through the reciprocating motion being transmitted from the power transmission tool. The task barrel is mounted in the barrel carriage to be detached. When a plurality of abrasive chips and surface treatment solution are injected into the inside of the task barrel and the task barrel is vertically shaken, a surface of a metal part being injected into the task barrel is treated by the plurality of abrasive chips and the surface treatment solution.
