A notification apparatus mounted on a shoe executes notification when a person wearing the shoe reaches a position that satisfies a notification condition. The notification apparatus (100) mounted on a shoe is provided with: a wearing/taken-off state detection means for detecting whether a person is wearing or has taken off a shoe; a position detection means for detecting the position of a person wearing a shoe; a communication means for communicating with an external device via a communication network; an evaluation means for evaluating whether the condition for sending notification to the external device has been satisfied, on the basis of the result of the detection by the position detection means and/or the result of the detection by the wearing/taken-off state detection means; and a notification means for controlling, when the evaluation means evaluates that the notification condition has been satisfied, the communication means so as to send notification to an external device registered in advance as a notification destination. |
