<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand dryer and a washstand that can effectively use a limited space for washing hands and reduce mentally oppressive feeling to a user. <P>SOLUTION: The hand dryer includes: a first inner wall part 3 including a first nozzle part 5; a second inner wall part 4 including a second nozzle part facing to the first inner wall 3 and jetting an air flow. The hand dryer includes: a hand insertion part 2 formed such that the hand can be inserted/extracted in/from between the first inner wall part 3 and the second inner wall part 4; a case 10 forming a hand insertion part 2; a fan housed in the case 10 and supplying an air flow; and a flow path formed in the case 10 wherein the air flow from the fan flows from the first nozzle part 5 to the second nozzle part. When a reference plane which divides the case 10 into a part including the first inner wall part 3 and a part including the second inner wall part 4 is assumed, the hand insertion part 2 and the flow path are formed symmetrically to the reference plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
