<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication module having a wiring board that can incorporate components, which can be adjusted to match an antenna based on its characteristic, and a reader writer using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A communication module comprises: a wiring board; a communication processing IC arranged on the wiring board; and a matching circuit, electrically connected to the communication processing IC and arranged on the wiring board, that matches an antenna arranged outside. The matching circuit is a circuit of a passive element circuit network comprising at least either of a capacitor or an inductor. At least one of circuit elements constituting the passive element circuit network is made by connecting in parallel or in series a first passive element component incorporated in the wiring board to a second passive element component that is mounted on the wiring board and is the same in type as the first passive element component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
