Provided is a method for detecting hole areas that occur in coverage areas of a communication system (1) provided with a plurality of base station devices (2a, 2b) and mobile station devices (3a, 3b). In said method, reception power from the plurality of base station devices (2a, 2b) is measured in each of the mobile station devices (3a, 3b). The base station device (3a) of the plurality of base station devices (2a, 2b) covers the cell where the mobile station devices (3a, 3b) are located. A hole area which may occur if the signal output from the base station device (3a) discontinues is detected on the basis of the reception power from the other base station device (3b) other than the base station (3a). |
