<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a composition of a pigment and resin in which the pigment is dispersed in a non-agglomerated state in a high concentration in a thermoplastic resin, which has no problems of bad workability and contamination of equipment, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a composition of a pigment and resin includes continuously and quantitatively feeding one or more kinds of thermoplastic resins having a melting point or softening point of ≤110°C from a hopper to a twin-screw extrusion kneader, continuously and quantitatively injecting a wet cake-like aqueous pigment dispersion from an injection port mounted in the middle of the barrel of the twin-screw extrusion kneader to the kneader by a uniaxial eccentric screw pump, mixing and kneading the molten resin with the aqueous pigment dispersion in the barrel at the melting temperature of the resin or above, transferring the phase of the pigment from a water phase to a resin phase, discharging separated water from a plurality of vent ports to give the composition in which the pigment is dispersed in the molten resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
