<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation to attach/remove a rotary body to/from a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary body supporting mechanism comprises a rotary body, a housing of an apparatus main body, and a supporting member holding the rotary body and attached to the housing. The supporting member includes an attachment part for attaching the supporting member to the housing. In attaching the supporting member holding the rotary body to the housing, the rotary body is pressed against the supporting member by a pressing part, and therefore, the rotary body may be easily held on the supporting member and the supporting member may be easily attached to te housing.
